* The top CADR figure here is the original Blast Mini as we are still awaiting figures for the top speed of the MkII. Note that CADR is a domestic rating tool and as 'large space' purifiers clean the air too quickly in the ‘small room’ test environment to get a proper reading, some home purifiers may look better value. HEPA13 with an airflow of 1400m³/hr can't realistically be compared to home models. This is why commercial purifiers show Airflow rates rather than CADR.
* The Smart Air filters are certified to GB13554-2008 (now updated to GB13554-2020) & GBT6165-2008 standards. This is the Chinese equivalent of EN1822 / ISO29463 and is an independent lab test

FAQs
Can the pre-filter for the Blast units be reused?
Yes. Simply take it out, give it a rinse or brush it over with a soft brush. We recommend that you only put it back when it is completely dry, otherwise its moisture will affect the HEPA and mold may grow.
Where is the air inlet in the Blast and Blast Mini?
Air enters from the back panel of the filter and exits from the front panel.
Are the Blast and Blast Mini quiet?
The sounds are mostly from the fan and airflow. On their highest mode, they sound like an air conditioner and on their lowest mode, they sound like whispers. If you are sensitive to noise, you can place it further from you. Both units meet the school threshold of around 50dB to enable classes to be heard over the noise.
How will the noise increase if I purchase several units?
No matter how many you purchase, the noise levels will go up in increments of 3dB for each unit. For example, if you purchase 3 x Sqairs for a classroom and you wish to run it on medium, the noise will be calculated as follows 43+3+3dB=49dB. If you have the equipment to test noise levels, please add a further 3dB for current ambient noise levels without the purifier so a total of around 52dB will be picked up. Remember to leave the purifiers running for about 20 mins before measuring sound levels otherwise it will appear louder.
Where should I place the Blast or Blast Mini?
Put simply: you can place your Blast or Blast Mini anywhere! However, it’s important to make sure it’s positioned at least 15cm from the wall. 15cm (or just under 6 inches) is about a palm’s distance, so make sure to move your air purifier away from the wall. Once done, remember to lock the wheels of the Blast and Blast Mini to secure their position. If positioning for COVID, away from the windows or doors which will bring in natural ventilation. This way the purifiers can pick up any dead zones. Equally if you are placing more than one purifier in your room, position them around the room.
Can the Blast and Blast Mini be used 24/7?
The Blasts and Blast Mini are designed to be safe to run 24/7. However, to prolong the lifespan of the motors, it is advised that you occasionally turn off your motor, to allow it to cool. We recommend turning it off after 12 hours to provide the longest lifespan for your Blast’s motor. Also, to prolong the life of your HEPA filter, we recommend only using the purifier when you have people in the room switching it on 30 mins before to clean the air. The Blase units don't have a timer but they will work with timer plugs.
Are the corners of the Blast units kid-friendly?
The corners of the both units are rounded to prevent injury. However, we recommend that children do not push or play near the Blast.
Can the Blast be placed horizontally on its side?
Yes, the Blast and the Blast Mini will both work when placed flat on the ground horizontally. However, it is still important to ensure the back of the Blast is at least 15cm from a wall or any other object, so as not to obstruct the airflow.
